Back to Neil Chakrabarty
I crafted my own educational program at WVU to be a robotic design engineer. I graduated with a degree in computer engineering which in its self is a mix of electronic hardware and computer software study. I also completed 30 hours of mechanical engineering culminating in a graduate class in robotic design. I also volunteered to work on robotic projects while at the univerity with the ANT and the ANT2 robots under the guidance of Dr Larry Banta.
However in my professional life I have worked only as a database designer/programmer which is precicely what I had been doing before I went to WVU.
So now I am left with the same dreams as when I started except that now I do have the background to do well at roboic design.
I am also much better off as I have met and married Renu, and have a stable home and workshop from which to create projects.
